A Memorable Moment

When asked to share a meaningful memory from her career, Kristen immediately recalled a bride she worked with in preparation for her wedding day.

One of my favorite memories is from a client’s wedding prep. She was planning two looks - one with her hair styled down, and the other pulled back and off the face. So I knew we had to be really thoughtful about the placement.

Kristen chose soft, honey-golden tones to warm the client’s complexion and used fine, hand-placed babylights around the hairline to ensure the color would enhance every angle—especially in photos.

I remember strategically placing each highlight, knowing how important those front pieces would be when her hair was up. We wanted something luminous, elegant, and timeless. When she sent me the photos after the wedding, her smile said it all. That moment, knowing I played a small part in making her feel that confident - it truly meant the world to me.
